Quality Control - accreditation

Quality control (QC) of semen analysis is essential for the detection and correction of systematic errors and high variability. Regular QC assessment is required for laboratory accreditation and to maintain accuracy, precision and competence in the andrology laboratory.

Additionally sperm motility and velocity are highly dependent on temperature, assessment of motility therefore should be performed as close to 37°C as possible [World Health Organization laboratory manual for the examination of human semen. 3rd edition. 1992]  -

Quality Control can be acheived with our QC Beads and MiniTherm Warm Stage.
